Ashley was born on July 27, 1981 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was commonly called “Pistol Pete” by her father.

After high school, Ashley was determined to return to Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin with her close cousin Jessica. Ashley was a typical college student, she studied hard and partied some too. She graduated in December 2003 with a bachelor’s degree (BS) in Advertising.
She worked various jobs before being hired by the Texas Department of Transportation as a Public Affairs specialist where she worked for nine years. After leaving TXDOT, Ashley went on to other jobs that appealed to her wishes. In 2015 she moved to Marble Falls to be closer to her mother and at the time of her death Ashley was working for Home Depot in Marble Falls.
In the last year, Ashley had finally met her true love and soul mate, Charlie Pemberton of Marble Falls. Ashley and Charlie planned to marry this year.
