Scotty Eugene Richards

Scotty Eugene Richards, 73, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born November 19, 1945 in Huntington, West Virginia, he was the son of Ernest and Stella Mae (Burton) Richards.

He is survived by his family with his first wife, daughters, Sherry (Bob) Welch and Sandra Collins; grandchildren, Tommy (Megan) Collins, Kimberly (Justin) Gerich and Melissa (Kenny) Berkshire; and great grandchildren, Chance, Leyna, Kaleigh, Brooklyn, Makenna, Mason, Brynlee and Thomas. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Lance Corporal John William Jeffries III and a son-in-law, Tommy Collins.

He is also survived by his second wife, Goldie (Strouse) Richards; their children, Scottie Eugene Richards, Jr., Jennifer Lynn Edwards, Melissa Marie Aguado, David Allen Richards and Sheila Blevins; grandchildren, André Richards, James River Richards, Jacob Elam E. Richards, Austin Dakota Richards, Bridget Lynn Richards, Maria Isbel Richards, Faith Marie Richards, Jason Christopher Richards, Francisco Javier Aguado, Esmeralda Aguado, Charity Mae Ruth Hopson, José Luis Aguado, Jr., Brittany Angelica Richards, Grace Richards, Lilley Richards, Evan Richards, Kyle Westen, Lacey Mae Richards, William Alan McRoberts, Destiny Johnson, Austin (Lilman) Johnson and Ashley Smith; great grandchildren, Able Scott Richards, Kyle Jacob Richards, Brantley Ephew Laprae, Diana Hopson, Ezekiel Aaron, Edward Kaufman; Cora Alexis Lawson, William Alan McRoberts, Jr., Lilyana Richards, Brayden Schomaker, Jessica Johnson, Penny Johnson, Aron Smith, Alistar Smith, Zoeyy Johnson and Iskandas Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Earnest Richards, Stella Mae Richards, Buddy Richards and Art Richards and grandchildren, Victor Luis Aguado and Ishia Aguado.

There will be no services at this time. Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Scotty Eugene Richards.
