Phyllis McQuillen

Phyllis M. McQuillen, 74, of Mansfield, died February 15, 2010, at MedCentral Mansfield. Born June 11, 1935, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of James and Virginia Waldman Lorentz. A 1953 graduate of Mansfield Senior High, she was a member of First English Lutheran Church. A nurse's aide, Mrs. McQuillen enjoyed fishing and spending time at Lake Erie.

Surviving are her husband, Edward McQuillen; four children, Julie Hughett, Edward Debra McQuillen, James Brandi McQuillen, Joyanna Bryan McGathey; grandchildren, Brooke Woods, Joshua Hughett, Heather Kissiar, Michael Kissiar, Jenny Kissiar, Kandus McGathey, Danielle McQuillen, Ciara Biggs and Conner McQuillen; great grandchildren, James McQuillen, Tyler Woods, Camron Woods, Cayson Hughett, Briley Hughett, Aleczavier Hughett and Monique McGathey; a brother, James Lorentz; a sister, Patricia Don Gross; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

As per Mrs. McQuillen's wishes, she will be cremated. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 128 W. Prospect Street, Mansfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
