Melissa Dawn Kirkpatrick

Melissa was born on April 27, 1989 in Galion, Ohio to Mark and Debra (Ferguson) Kirkpatrick. Melissa attended Madison Comprehensive High School. Melissa has a good heart, was very giving, and a kind soul. She was always willing to be a friend and a help to others. Above all, Melissa was a devoted and loving mother who had a great love for her children. Her favorite past times were shopping, relaxing, camping, swimming, watching movies, and listening to music.

She is survived by her mother, Debi Kirkpatrick; her father, Mark (Vicky) Kirkpatrick; her fiancé, Denny Knapp; her children, Alaysia Marie, Brayden Malik, Xavier Andrew, Ariyonna Hope, and Kenzleigh Faith; her sisters, Bobbi Jo (Greg Toney) Stevens, Felicha Kirkpatrick, Amy (James) Lute, LeeAnn (José Munoz) Wedge, and Megan Malone; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends; and a special lifelong friend, Julee Pratt. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jeannie and Dean Hill, and Tom and Margaret Kirkpatrick; her aunt, Nan Stultz; and a special friend, John Shingili.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the family in care of Wappner Cremation Center. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the Kirkpatrick family.
