Marilyn Evelyn McDaniel, 73, of Mansfield, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born June 13, 1942 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Clansbell and Opal (Ingles) Carroll. She was married 59 years to Donald R. McDaniel who passed away January 15, 2016.
A homemaker, she loved the Lord and was a member of Springmill Church of God. She made everyone around her feel comfortable and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Jim McDaniel; a daughter, Terrie Stollings; grandchildren, Melissa McDaniel (Matt Ebinger), Jeni McDaniel, Ashley (John) Roberts, Brandon (Kristy) McDaniel and Jimmy Lee (Stephanie Oakley) McDaniel; three step granddaughters; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Henderson who was like a second mother to Marilyn, Barbara Duncan, Phyllis Cooper, Georgia Sorrell, Bonnie Cash, Peggy Hadley and Judy Kelly; and a brother, Gerry "Butch" Ingles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Roy Stollings, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Vesta Marie McDaniel; a sister, Helen Brown; and a brother, Gary Ingles.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Breath of Life Church, 77 N. Walker Avenue, Mansfield conducted by Pastors James Watkins and Michael Stone.
