Judy was selfless and always put others before herself. She was willing to take care of anyone in need. Her giving and servant heart was a shining example of her Christian faith. Judy attended the Church of God and was a faithful follower. Honesty, integrity, kind and compassionate were just a few words that described Judy. Her family was most important to her and she was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She loved to laugh and make others laugh with her funny and goofy sense of humor. A homemaker most of her life, she worked as a STNA for several years. Judy was an exceptional cook and spoiled her family with many delicious treats. Gardening was a favorite activity and she canned fruits and vegetables, and also grew beautiful flowers.
Judy is survived by her children, James Crider, Doug (Tina) Crider, Teresa (Steve) Porter, Curtis Crider, Jeri Lynn (Josh) Thilmony, Dwayne (Andrea) Crider, Steven (Betty) Crider, Paul (Erica) Crider and Glenn Stamper; many grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; four brothers, Melvin (Cindy) Hinton, Roger (Faye) Hinton, Paul (Liz) Hinton and Gary Hinton; brother-in-law, Paul (Lindia) Gleisinger; lifelong friend, Judy Burrell; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald "Jerry" Crider in 1999.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Michael G. Rogers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with additional visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, OH 45840.
A special thank you is extended by the family to Bridge Hospice for the exceptional care given to Judy.
