Janet Louise Zucker, 56, of 3330 Mabee Road died at home Sunday evening, November 10, 2002 after an extended illness. Mrs. Zucker was born May 12, 1946 in Findlay, Ohio to Firmin Jack & Bernice Virginia Norris Grindell. She lived most of her life in the Ontario area, living previously in Bucyrus. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1964. She was employed with Timken Roller Bearing Company and was a typesetter for the Ontario Tribune-Courier for many years. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and a Richland County
4-H advisor. She and her husband raised horses since 1970 Quarter horses since 1980.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Zucker, whom she married September 3, 1965 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bucyrus; three sons and a daughter-in-law, David & Michelle Zucker, Brian Zucker and Shawn Zucker; two daughters, Heidi and Amanda Zucker of Ontario; two grandchildren, David and Tyler Zucker of Ontario; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack & Bea Grindell of Simpsonville, South Carolina; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce & Arthur Wagner of Bucyrus and Eunice & Gary Smith of Canfield, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services to be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at First English Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First English Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
