James Russell Daubenspeck, 77, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Brethren Care Village in Ashland. Born September 20, 1939 in Mansfield, Ohio, he was the son of Russell James and Edna (Baker) Daubenspeck.
He retired from General Motors following 45 years of service and was a 50 year member of the Ashland Masonic Lodge #151 F&AM.
He is survived by his children, Russell (Amy) Daubenspeck, David (Dawn) Daubenspeck and Ann (Mike) Itschner; five grandchildren; a brother, John (Julie) Daubenspeck; and two sisters, Nancy and Mary Lou.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Daubenspeck.
There will be no calling hours or services.
The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is assisting the family.
