Henry Glenn Snyder, 84, of Mansfield died Thursday morning, November 7, 2002 at Lexington Court Care Center after a brief illness. Mr. Snyder was born July 28, 1918 in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was former owner of Mansfield Mutual Insurance Agency. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Mansfield Lodge #35 F & A M and Bucyrus American Legion. Mr. Snyder was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred E. Kline Snyder of Mansfield; four daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda Kay & Marshall Morrow of Mansfield, Dianne Lee & John Dorn of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Sue Elaine & Keith Eberhardt and Tamara Jo & Pete Papay, all of New Jersey; grandchildren and their spouses, Marsha Kay Morrow, Jay & Natalie Miller, Dr. Jeffrey Morrow and Kyle, Seth and Kendall Eberhardt; a great-granddaughter, Chloe Miller; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George & Ann Snyder of Michigan and Dr. William & Pat Snyder of Chillicothe, Ohio; a sister and brother-in-law, Isabel & John Young of Worthington, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Mickey Snyder of Williamsport, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Marcus & Gladys Meyer Snyder; and a brother, Francis Snyder.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. David Gilbert. Military services will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
