Charles "Chuck" F. Eaton, Jr.

Charles F. "Chuck" Eaton, Jr., 73, of Bellville, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 22, 2016. Born September 16, 1943 in Mansfield, he was the son of Charles F. Eaton, Sr. and Mary E. (Jurgens) Eaton.

He was a 1961 graduate of St. Peter's High School and attended North Central Technical College, San Antonio Junior College and Florida State University. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1964-1968. He had worked at Therm-O-Disc and various heating and cooling companies before his final job at Baumberger's. He was a great brother and friend who was always willing to help any family members and was known as a jack of all trades. He was an avid sportsman and sports fan. He always carried good memories and was thankful for his family's prayers.

He is survived by his son, Ryan (Karri) Ohl; two grandchildren, Lauren Ohl and Kylie Ohl; three sisters, Virginia (Dr. Raymond) Applegate, Mary Jane (John) Lump and Susan (Rodney) Clagg; a brother, Thomas J. Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the Mass, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the church on Monday. Private family burial will be held at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
