Carla Rochele Sargent, 54, of Galion, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 13, 1962, in Mansfield, Ohio, to James Vincent Gentile and Nancy Lee Crawford Gentile.
She was a 1981 graduate of Lucas High School and was employed as a Correction Supervisor for Life Touch for 5 1/2 years in Galion. She was loved by her co-workers and enjoyed her time with them. Carla was close to her mother and enjoyed many trips with her over the years. She frequented garage sales and enjoyed the challenge of finding that next big treasure. Carla's family was very important to her and she enjoyed cooking, eating and family get-togethers. Carla truly loved life.
She is survived by her loving partner of 11 years, Rick Flannery of Galion; parents, James and Nancy Gentile of Perrysville; sister, Kimberly (Michael) Snively of Perrysvile; brother, Gregory Gentile of Bellville; a niece, Amanda Snively; and a nephew, James Snively.
