Betty Sweeney

A homemaker, Betty was a loving mother whose family was very important to her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her granddaughter Trisha will always be her "little squirt". In her younger years, Betty loved riding horses and she also loved to fish anywhere she could get her line wet. She loved her diet Pepsi and her final wish to drink one was fulfilled.

Betty spent most of her life in Wayne County, Ohio except for living in Winter Haven, Florida with her boyfriend, Bob Compton, for the last few years before moving back to Ashland.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Bob Compton; her daughter, Maryanne Power; her son, Richard Power; her grandchildren, Ashley, Richard, Riley and Michael Power and Trisha Lamphear; her great grandson, Gage Cline; and her sisters, Sandy Beutler, Jackie Taylor and Susan Sharp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Stutzman and William Stutzman.

There will be no services at this time.
