Arnold Thompson, 71, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at his home. He was born June 18, 1949, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late John and Mary (Viars) Thompson.
He worked at DSL Factory and Forklift Tires and was a jack of all trades. Arnold's family was very important to him. He met his wife, Nancy Miller, at the tender age of 13, and they were married for 50 years. Kindhearted and generous, he would do anything for anyone. Arnold had a special place in his heart for his pug dog, Bully. He enjoyed playing the guitar and loved old style country music. He especially enjoyed the Friday Night Jam at the Finish Line.
Arnold is survived by his four children, Rosemary Short, Daniel Thompson, Eunice Lee and Tammy Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Thompson; and infant son, Arnold Thompson Jr.
There will be no service or visitation at this time. Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
