Alice Faye Coleman

Faye was a beloved wife, dedicated mother and caring grandmother. She had a giving heart and was very generous to others. Her life centered around her family, and her beloved husband, Dillard was the love of her life. Faye was not concerned with materialistic possessions in life by cherished her relationships. Faye was a member of Oasis of Love Church.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Dillard Coleman Jr.; a daughter, Michele Dorsey; sons, Harold Dorsey, Mike (Sherry) Dorsey and John Dorsey; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ozella Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph McCullough; and brothers, Sammie and Richard.

Friends and family may visit from 9-9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Home, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral ceremony officiated by Dr. Walter E. Jordan II will follow at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Faye will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Oasis of Love Church.
