Robert James Messina

Robert Messina, age 78, of Manchester Township, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He then lived in Staten Island, NY, for many years before moving to Manchester in 2005. Robert honorably served in the US Army where he achieved the rank of Sargeant. He worked as a butcher and retired in 2008. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. Robert was a family man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, RoseMary Messina, his loving sons; Robert Messina Jr. and his wife Anne, Christoher Messina and his wife, Christine, and Chad Messina and his wife Liz, his cherished grandchildren; Corrin, Ava, Jordan, Fallon, Grace and Logan, his dear mother, Rose Clemente and his sweet furbaby, Brie.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 3-7 pm, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, Nj 08759. Please be at the funeral home on Wednesday January 17, 2024, at 10 am and then we will follow the procession to the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562, for a funeral service at 11:30 am with Military Honors to follow.
