Jane was born in Peabody, MA and raised in Newark, NJ by her parents Mary and Frank Raczka with her brother Theodore. Jane's mother and father immigrated from Poland, and she was proud of her Polish heritage. She graduated from East Side High School in Newark. Jane married Arthur G. Servilla on January 29, 1949. Jane and Arthur raised a family including three sons, Art Jr., Scott and Steve at their home in Wall Township on the Manasquan River. She worked at Fort Monmouth's Camp Evans as a budget analyst for twenty years before retiring in 1992. Jane thoroughly enjoyed her work and time with her co-workers. After retiring, she and Arthur moved to Manchester, NJ, and Jane enjoyed volunteering at and the Second Time Around Consignment and Thrift Shop in Toms River, which raises funds on behalf of Community Medical Center.
Jane was a devoted and loving wife mother who instilled a sense of humor, pride, positivity and perseverance in her three boys. She enjoyed word games, including crossword puzzles and Jumble. Jane also enjoyed going on walks at the Manasquan inlet and Manasquan beach. She loved classical music, as well as the music of Tony Bennett and Roy Orbison.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur, in 1998 and her brother Theodore. Jane spent her final years living in Brick Township with her son, Art, who cared for her until she passed away. Jane is survived by her three sons, Art of Brick Township, Steve of Killington, Vermont, Scott of Wall Township and his wife, Heidi, and her grandchildren Deborah Servilla of Verona, Wisconsin and Brett Servilla of Wall Township.
