Agnes S. Gibson

Agnes S. Gibson, 89, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Thursday September 24, 2015 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ, with her family at her side. Born in Glasgow Scotland, Agnes came to America in 1953 with her late husband Alexander. They lived in North Plainfield for many years before moving to Cedar Glen West 28 years ago. She was a member of the Lakehurst Presbyterian Church as well as a member of their choir. Agnes was also a member of the Daughters of Scotia. She was an avid reader, proficient with computers and enjoyed lunching and shopping with the ladies. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Agnes is predeceased by her husband Alexander (2007) and her son Alexander (2000). She is survived by her daughter Carol Gibson and her husband John Hack of South Brunswick, NJ, and her daughter in law Catherine Gibson, of Whiting, NJ, and nieces and nephews in Scotland.

Visitation will be at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on Thursday, Oct 1, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, with a Funeral Service to be celebrated during the afternoon visitation and a closing prayer at the end of the evening visitation.
