Raymond “Ray” Paul Lamy, 73, of Bedford, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 28, 2021. Born on May 17, 1948 in Manchester, NH, he was the son of the late Roger J. Lamy and Simone (Duvernay) Lamy.
Raymond grew up in Manchester, NH and was educated throughout the Manchester Public School. He received an associate’s degree at New Hampshire Institute of Technology and spent his career as a Safety Engineer. Raymond was a member of the Pointer Fish & Game Club in Bedford, NH and a Gun Safety Instructor for the state of NH.
Raymond was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, visits to the beach and spend hours tinkering with small engines. He also enjoyed Clint Eastwood movies, music from the Beatles and loved M&M’s.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Lamy, their two children; Jeff Lamy and Jen Lamy; grandchild Gabriel Muñoz; brothers, Norman Lamy and David Lamy; and sisters Pauline Mahoney and Nancy Blais.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9:00am to 11:30am at McHugh Funeral Home located at 283 Hanover St, Manchester NH. A burial will be held immediately following the memorial service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery located at 448 Donald Street in Bedford, NH at 12:00pm.
