Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Manalapan before settling in Toms River in 2012.
Jaime was a very hard worker. He held numerous jobs, but most recently worked at the ShopRite of Manchester in a maintenance position. He was a lover of music, cooking, and sports – any sport and any team. Jaime was a caring and creative person and an old soul with a gigantic heart, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Jaime was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Jay Chernow; his paternal grandfather, William Kol; and his great-grandparents, Rose & Rubin Messing.
Surviving is his mother, Laurie Chernow; his father, Jay Kolbasowski; his siblings: Dan, Mick, Paige, Nicole, and Samantha; his nephew and niece: Jamir and Jada; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
