To Barry’s Family
I had the opportunity to work with Barry on many of his clients and learned how much they respected him as a business advisor.  Many GT  partners like myself looked up to him as a mentor and valued both his perspective and experience.  

He and I shared a love of rock and roll and would make copies of music for each other.  Barry was a special person who will be missed!

Barry has a special place in my heart. Howie Cohen, Barry and I were promoted to partner together at Alexander Grant & Company in 1981. Professionally, the three of us grew up together. Some great memories including very late nights at Raybestos. Dorothy and I will keep Barry, Rhonda and the family in our thoughts and prayers. 

I have known Barry for at least 30 years.
He would come to see me for his H_C on average every 6-8 weeks..I would like to say    
"Thank You " ,,and it was  Great Pleasure to have known You....R.I.P...........Joe...

To the Weiss Family:
I was so sorry to hear of Barry's passing earlier today.  I worked with Barry for many years at Grant Thornton.  He was an extremely talented professional -- both his technical skills and the manner in which he serviced his clients.  I learned so much from Barry .  Most of the time Barry was a reserved person - but I do remember his laugh -- it was contagious!  I remember Barry talking about his family -  the love he had for his wife and children and then, his grandchildren - a number of years ago when 2 little girls entered his life and stole his heart!  

My deepest sympathies to the entire family - Barry will be missed so very much.

Barry was an exemplary partner. He combined outstanding technical skills with a strong client service orientation that earned him the admiration, respect and friendship of his partners and clients.  He was a mentor to me early in our careers and I will never forget the winter month we spent each year auditing a coal mine in West Virginia when I got to know Barry really well. I am very sad to hear of his passing. 

I know Barry since 1997, when I joined GT. I cannot say enough how I am happy to call him a friend and a partner. I saw him several times over the last few years, but due to covid, could not, and I really wish I had.

He was truly generous and caring and I will never forget how he treated me and took out his managers for dinners every year. I copied that by having parties for the entire audit group. 

I was heartbroken and in tears this morning when I heard the news. Devastating. I am sure he is in a better place.
