Terry Rostien

Terry was born March 15, 1952 to the late LeRoy and Ida Mae (Parker) Rostien. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann Knight.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Catherine, his devoted children, Chuck and his wife RoseMarie, Christine Wilbert and her husband Michael, and Cathleen Fitzgerald and her husband Thomas, his cherished grandchildren, Kayla, Tifanie, Joey, Miranda, Madison, Michael, Sadie, Chuck Jr., Hunter, Collin, and Erin.He is also survived by his precious great-grandchildren, Aerianna, Steven, Katielyn, Alexa, Troy, and Lucas, his loving brother, Sonny Rostien, his many nieces and nephews and a multitude of cousins.

He was a self-employed carpenter and together with his dad, LeRoy, owned and operated a saw mill.

Terry loved hunting, fishing, NASCAR, cooking and BBQ’s. He especially loved to BBQ on Easter which was his favorite holiday. His family was very important to him, his happiest times were the times spent with them. He was greatly loved by all and will be missed.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ with a funeral service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at the Greenwood/Cedar Run Cemetery on Rte 9.
