He is also survived by his two sons and two daughters, Richard H Cullen Jr (wife Janet) of Delaware, Michael Cullen of New Jersey, Wendy Gaupp (husband Dale) of New Jersey and Bambi Walker (husband Wayne) Of New Jersey.
Richard also leaves behind his 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and his sister, Barbara Fell of DE.
He served in the Army in Germany following WWII. Richard was employed by Teleflex, as an engineer, designing boating instrumentation and controls. He also worked the bay, as a commercial fisherman for years. He retired from Ciba-Geigy in April of 1992 to spend time with his family and to pursue his love of fishing and hunting. He enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes
Calling hours will be Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with a service at 11:30 at the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr. Manahawkin, NJ.
