He was predeceased by his son Mark, his sister Rose Rinaldi, his brother Anthony Belli, his brother-in-law Paul Rinaldi and his sister-in-law Marilyn Belli
Dominick is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Angelina (Angie), his loving children; Dominick and his wife Diane, Gina Luciano and her husband Michael and Thomas and his wife Stacey. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren; Christina, Thomas (Lauren), Daniel, Jenna, Dominick, Mary, Nicholas and Michael, his brothers, Eugene, Santino (Nancy) and sister-in-law, Sharon Belli as well as his many caring nieces and nephews.
Dominick was a veteran of the U.S. Army, proudly served his country in the Korean War. After he was honorably discharged from the Army, he went to work for the Township of West Orange, retiring in 1992 as the Superintendent of Public Works.
Once he retired, he and Angie became “Snow Birds” spending their winters in Port Charlotte, Florida.
He was an avid fisherman and loved being on boats. He was a self-taught auto mechanic, he enjoyed repairing engines on many of his friend’s and family’s boats. Above all else, Dominick loved spending time with his family, it brought him much joy and happiness. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am on Friday, November 15, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave. East Hanover, NJ.
