Arthur W Hoyt

He was predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Sullivan) and his daughter Lynn Keyser.

Arthur is survived by his 5 daughters, Nancy Harris and her husband Art, Kathy Hoyt, Cindy Larson and her husband Keith, Sandy Hoyt and Darcy Hoyt. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, his brother-in-law Raymond Riley and his nieces and nephews.

Arthur was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. While on active duty, aboard the USS Bergall, SS 320 submarine, he was the cook for the entire crew.

He enjoyed playing horseshoes while at family BBQ’s, family trips to Maine was a favorite time for him, and he was an extremely talented handyman. Arthur’s biggest passion though was his fishing trips out of Barnegat Light, NJ. He would fish as often as he could and it was on his many fishing trips that he came to make many lifelong friends. His passion for fishing was so great, he owned 10 fishing poles and 4 tackle boxes.

Arthur was an active member of the American Legion Post 232 in Barnegat, NJ
