Her uplifting spirit was contagious and continued until her very last breath. She had an infectious smile that would make you forget all the problems around and bring peace to your heart. After a long battle, she was called upon from the Lord to “Come Home.” She will be missed dearly by so many.
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” This was Peggy’s favorite saying to preach and she truly lived by those simple words.
Peggy was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Stover; her second husband, Kenneth Robinson; sons, Joseph Jr., Thomas, Jackie & Rodney Stover; and several sisters & brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann Stover (Jeff) Atkins of South Charleston; son, John (Linda) Stover of Charleston; sisters, Alice Schearer of Ohio and Loretta Lucas of Tad; brothers, Roger Hess of Charleston; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday April 22, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with H.R. Whittington as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
