Sarah Elizabeth Blount, 25, of Blount, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014. She was born in Charleston on May 26, 1989. She grew up on Campbells Creek and attended Grace Freewill Baptist Church and Riverside High School. Sarah enjoyed hunting, cooking, cosmetology, drawing and animals. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Johnny Blount. Sarah will deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her father, John Allen (Paula) Blount of Elkview; mother, Lesley (Chris) Coyner of Nitro; sisters, Emily Blount of Greensboro, North Carolina, Allison Blount and Delaney Coyner of Nitro and Morgan Blount of Elkview; paternal grandmother, Margaret Blount; and maternal grandfather, Robert (Charlotte) Cullifer. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 , at Grace Freewill Baptist Church, Blount, with Pastor Fred Christian officiating. The burial will follow the service in Brannard Cemetery, Blount. Family and friends will gather for the visitation on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.
