Robert Loy Bower

Robert was born in Oak Park, Illinois on March 25, 1965, to Christine Mullins Bower and the late Orval “Country” Bower. He was a 1983 graduate of DuPont High School. Worked for Dixie Trucking in North Carolina and Clearon Corporation in South Charleston. He was a member of the NRA, an avid hunter and motorcycle rider and loved NASCAR.

Along with his father, Robert was preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Mae Bower, Ober and Della Mullins and Margaret Brem.

He is survived by his mother, Christine Mullins Bower of Campbell’s Creek; brother, Ober (Lisa) Bower of Winston Salem, NC, Foster brother, Kyle Dana (Melissa) Walker of St. Roberts, MO.; and nieces, Jana Meadows and Mayada Bower.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Liberty Christian Church Activity Building with the Rev. Randy Wilson officiating.

A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
