Debra Ann Dickerson Meadows

Another sweet angel entered Heaven from Hubbard Hospice House on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Debra was born October 24, 1957 at Notomine. She graduated school from East Bank High School and was employed by WV Department of Corrections. She was loved by everyone that she came in contact with, and was especially loved by her co-workers, who visited her faithfully and showered her with love. The family thanks you. Debra attended Diamond Baptist Church and was a Christian. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Esta Dickerson and Charles and Mildred Ward. Debra is survived by father, Lawrence Dickerson of Carbon; mother, Shirley Dickerson of Charleston; children, Lori (Bryant) Davis of Charleston; Jessica Bass of South Charleston; and Cody Bass of Belle; sister, Nancy Kay Dickerson of Georgia; brothers, Gene Dickerson of Ripley; and Steve (Kim) Dickerson of Miami; and five grandchildren. The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor Rick Pursley officiating. The burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Family and friends will gather for the visitation from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family wants to send a special thank you to Hubbard Hospice House for their love and kindness, Charleston Memorial Hospital and David Lee Cancer Center.
