Brittany Leigh Huddleston

Brittany was born April 22, 1990, to Lee and Laurel Huddleston in Pontiac, Michigan.

She blessed all of our lives with a wonderful son, Jayden Lee King, an amazing daughter, Kendra Leigh King (whom preceded her in death) and a very adorable son, Colton Lee King.

Our “Pretty Britty” was the ultimate Daddy’s girl and every day of her life he spent working to give her everything that he could. All she ever wanted was to make her parents proud of her and we were. She accomplished all her goals and loved her work as a CNA. Most importantly Brittany was an exceptionally kind person with a heart of gold and would lend anyone a helping hand.

Her relationship with her four sisters, Jessica (Dustin) Stone, Hilary (Josh) Hundley, Madison (Jonathon) Bennett and Katherine Huddleston was truly unique. They shared a special bond that only a sister can understand…Sometimes a mentor, co-conspirator, secret keeper, defender and listener but always a best friend. No distance, differences or absence will ever change the love between them.

Known as Aunt BB she was absolutely adored by her Nieces and Nephews…

She was so excited for her upcoming wedding to Hayes Allen Shamblin of Paint Creek. He spoiled her endlessly and showered her with flowers from the day they met. They went on many trips and were both looking forward to all their new adventures together. She loved his children Hayes Jr and Abbie Pauley.

She delighted in celebrating the holidays with her grandparents, Judy Huddleston, Virgil Lee Huddleston and James Leavitt Sr. Brittany was always surrounded by her family and supported by her village whether it be her friend/brother, Ronald (Devin) Miller, Aunt Melissa (Meme) and Uncle Mike Dew, Uncle Jeremy (Georgia) Huddleston, Aunt Rose (Rowrow) and Uncle John Meadows, Aunt Michelle Huddleston, Uncle Timothy (Scott) Leavitt. They were always just a phone call away…

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her…

A Celebration of Brittany’s Life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden.
