Ronald Lee "Joe" Lloyd

Ronald Lee "Joe" Lloyd, 56, of Madison Heights, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at his residence. Born in Halifax County, October 25, 1957, he was a son of Billy Mason Lloyd of Madison Heights and the late Lucille Francisco Lloyd. He was an employee of Buffalo Air Handling and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Blevins Lloyd; three sons, Joseph Michael Lloyd and wife Kimberly of Amherst, Jonathan Lee Lloyd and wife Lisa of San Antonio, TX and Kevin Michael Lloyd of Madison Heights; two step-daughters, Tina Gayle Anderson of Madison Heights and Jeanie Seay Moore and husband Jerry of Naola; two brothers, Steven Mason Lloyd of South Carolina and Gary Lynn Lloyd of Madison Heights; two sisters, Janet Faye Christian and husband David and Deborah Jean Dix and husband Claude all of Madison Heights and 12 grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are made to the Monelison Volunteer Fire Department, 106 Amer Cir, Madison Heights, VA 24572.
