George Michael Stone

George Michael Stone, 73, of Madison Heights passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Lisa Stone. Born in Virginia on May 14, 1948 he was a son of the late George Stone and Martha Stone. He was a retired sales person with the Fire Place Shop and a sales rep for Nabisco for 20 years. George also served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his children, Margeret Bacigalupi (Kevin) of Louisville, KY, Jon Stone of Titusville, FL and Megan Stone of Madison Heights; a sister Martha Burch and her husband Ron of Alaska; a grandson, Cameron Bacigalupi; and his furry companion Smuckers. A visitation will be held 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm Friday, October 29, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to your local humane society.
