Brenda Bryant Taylor

She was born in Lynchburg on June 2, 1949, daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Bryant.

Brenda was retired from Weyerhaeuser/International Paper after more than 30 years. She loved all animals but especially cats, as well as going to the beach and doing crossword puzzles.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, William “Willie” Taylor and wife Donna and Brian Taylor and wife Angie; two sisters, Wanda Coffey and husband Arnold and Tammy Proffitt and husband Timmy; three grandchildren, Summer Harris, Matthew Tyree, and Sabrina Zegarelli; two great grandchildren, Avery Harris and DJ Harris; a niece, Stacey Stinson and husband Colin; two nephews, Andy Coffey and wife Catherine and Matthew Proffitt and wife Raina; five great nieces and nephews, Hannah Coffey, Cameron Stinson, Arden Stinson, Mikaela Browning and Hank Meeks. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Barbara Moore.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Fort Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor Steve Tyree officiating.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
