Tami MacDonald Migic, 49, of Madison CT, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 4, 2010 after a two-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her loving husband Vladimir E. Migic and was a devoted mother to her four sons Giovanni, Emilio, Aleksander, and Marchello. She is also survived by her loving parents Charles and Patricia MacDonald, two sisters Bambi Andrews (husband Rick), Robyn Hubacher (husband Scott), sister-in-law Anita Pavadore, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Kevin MacDonald. Tami was a dedicated physician assistant at Yale New Haven Hospital in the surgical department who established close relationships with her colleagues and patients and was known by all by her infectious laughter and smile. She was later attended to by her fellow colleagues during her illness. Tami was a devoted hockey mom and developed and made lasting relationships with other hockey families. Visitation will be held for family and friends at Swan Funeral Home located on 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. There will be a “Latin Rite” Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 5 Hill House Avenue, New Haven, CT on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 10 a.m. The burial will follow the funeral services at West Cemetery, on Boston Post Road in Madison, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vladimir E. Migic, trustee for Tami’s children at 696 Green Hill Road, Madison, CT 06443.
