Marilyn Pageau

Marilyn was born December 22, 1954 to the late Fredrick R. Menzies and June (Carroll) Menzies. She attended and graduated Daniel Hand High School in Madison CT and Dental Ceramist School in Norwalk, CT.

Marilyn was a loving and devoted mother to her special niece Shanna Slizofski (Jared) and their 2 sons, Ian and Logan Slizofski. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Heather Ebright (Randy) as well as Logan and Sarah Menzies.

Marilyn enjoyed photography, gardening, horses and after her 2 legged family nothing was closer to her than her dog Zoey.

Marilyn is survived by her brother Pete Menzies (Jeannie), of Old Saybrook, and her sister Linda Menzies of Oregon. She also leaves behind many people whose heart she has touched.

Marilyn’s family would like to express their deep gratitude to Dr. Nancy Hurlburt for her kind and compassionate care throughout her adult life.

Visitation will take place from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a Service of Remembrance beginning at 6:00pm on Monday March 6, 2017 at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT. 06443

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Marilyn’s memory may be made to the local ASPCA or CT Humane Society.
