Arthur Edward Wright

He was born on December 14, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Arthur E. Wright and Loretta Schaefer Wright.

Arthur attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and The Art Student League in Manhattan, NY. He was an avid painter in his younger years. He was also a ballroom dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, NYC. Arthur loved to play basketball and water ski. His favorite sports teams were the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He had a long career in International Sales, having traveled around the world to locations such as Belgium, France, Scotland, Germany, England, Sweden and Japan where he embraced the various cultures and brought his experiences home to his friends and family.

Mr. Wright is survived by his daughter Heather Henrey, son in law Matthew Henrey and his grandsons Quinn and Connor Henrey of Longmeadow, MA.

A memorial service honoring the life and memory of Arthur, will be held at 11am, Friday November 8, 2013 at First Congregational Church of Madison.
