Ann T. Fogg of Madison passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 1, 202,1 at her home. Ann was born in Winthrop, Mass., Aug. 2, 1934, the daughter of Anthony and Rose Tedesco. The family subsequently moved to Westfield, N.J., Ann graduated from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Special Education. She furthered her education at Southern Connecticut State University by completing both a master’s degree and a Sixth-Year degree in Special Education.
Ann was a Special Education Teacher, for many years, at various schools in Madison and retired in the early 1990s. After retiring from the public school system, she taught at The Country School in Madison for several more years. Ann helped countless children to learn how to read and was adamant that each child should reach his/her potential. She cherished time spent with family and friends, enjoyed gardening, reading and volunteering at the Food Pantry.
Ann is survived by and will be dearly missed by her three children, Scott Fogg and Kay Feld of New London, John Fogg and his wife, Pamela of Cary, N.C., and Leslie Fogg White and her husband, Chris of West Hartford; seven grandchildren, Anthony and Nicole White, Kaitlyn and Benjamin Fogg, and Michael, Justin, and Nicholas Fogg; three great-grandchildren, Autumn, Jaxon, and Aurora White; and Sue Hermonat, her closest friend for over 40 years.
A Memorial Service will be held from 10:00 a.m. - Noon on Saturday, June 26, in the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison.
