William "Billy" M. Davis

William “Billy” M. Davis, 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Joe E. Williams officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkway Assembly of God, 5191 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon GA 31206.

Mr. Davis was born in Wilkerson, County to the late James H. and Sallie Mae Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara R. Davis, brothers, John Davis, Ike Davis, Otis (Buddy) Davis and sisters, Madge McMillian, Myrtic Martin, Fannie Mander and Pauline Knight. Mr. Davis was a member of Parkway Assembly of God and was retired after forty years of service with the Macon Water Authority.

He is survived by his sons, Graylyn (Carolyn) Davis of Byron and Troy Davis, Sr. of Winston, GA, grandchildren, April Greenhoe, Troy Davis, Jr., Michelle Wood and Barbara Stone, five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, sister, Janie Weaver and a special great niece, Angie Blackburn and several nieces and nephews.
