Ruth Finleyson

Ruth Mixon Finleyson, 90, passed away in Winter Park, Florida on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at 12:00pm in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet family and friends from 11:00am until 11:45am at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Ruth was born in Jones County, Georgia to the late James and Emma Adams Mixon and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Finleyson. She was a beautician and a member of First Christian Church of Winter Park. Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

Survivors include her children, Kathy (Tony) Finleyson Collis, Bob (Jan) Finleyson and Libby (Steve) Finleyson Guntner; grandchildren, Kristy (Ron) Hightower, Amy Collis and Jennifer (Chris) Wolcik; great grandchildren, Morgan (William) Masters Treadway, Jake Hightower, Emma Hightower, Savannah Rosenfelt and Evelyn Wolcik; and numerous nieces and nephews.
