Kaitlyn A. Minter

Kaitlyn Alyssa Minter, 12, joined her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 12, 2014 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Fuller will officiate. The family will meet friends from 1:30 p.m., to service time on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center, 777 Hemlock Street, Macon, GA 31201.

Kaitlyn was born in Macon and was a Seventh Grade student at Thomson Middle School where she was active in Chorus, Musical Plays and in Reading and Honors Classes.

Kaitlyn is survived by those who loved and cherished her most, her mother, Rebecca (John) Morgan of Byron; her father, Bobby Minter of Norcross; her sister, Emily Morgan of Byron her paternal grandmother, Cheryl Strange of Macon, paternal grandfather, Mike (Ruby) Minter of Macon and paternal great grandmother, Mary Purvis of Macon; her maternal grandparents, Allen and Bonnie Creamer of Macon; her maternal great grandmother, Clare Hingle of Slidell, LA; her extended family, aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many friends at school and church.
