MACON – Judy Diane Phillips, 68, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 at her residence. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday at Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Lee Sheppard, the Rev. Kevin Mills and the Rev. Joe McDaniel will officiate. The family will meet friends from 4 – 6 p.m., Saturday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home
Ms. Phillips, a lifelong resident of Macon, was preceded in death by her birth parents, Henry S. and Hazel Elizabeth Glisson Marchman. She was retired from C & A Transportation and was a member of the Sassy Dames Chapter of the Red Hat Society. Ms. Phillips was a dedicated member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Jay) Bonney of Lizella; her granddaughter, Hannah Bonney of Lizella; her mother, Alice Stanley Marchman of Macon; her brother, Benny Marchman of Milledgeville; her sister, Audra Tidwell of Lizella and several nieces and nephews.
