Joan Donahoo Ramsey, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 02, 2018 surrounded by her family. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel Mausoleum at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S.T.E.P.S., Inc., P.O. Joan was born in Sycamore, GA to the late Marion B. and Myrtle Cravey Donahoo. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Ramsey, Jr., son, Kenneth Ramsey, sister, Barbara Jackson and brother, Rhett Donahoo. Joan was retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was a member of Mikado Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her sons, Phillip (Sherry) Ramsey, Tim (Jennifer) Ramsey, grandchildren, Ashley (Colin) Higgins, Lori (Chris) Lansford, Colin Ramsey, Katie Landrey, and Christopher Landrey, seven great grandchildren, sister, Omelia Donahoo and several nieces and nephews.
