James "Andy" Anderson Weaver, Jr.

James Anderson”Andy” Weaver Jr, 87 of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024. A Celebration of His Life will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 11:00 am. Reverend Dr. Ralph W. Hawkins will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. till service time in the church.

Born in Lafayette, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Anderson Weaver Sr. and Elizabeth Warrenfells Weaver. He was a retired food salesman with over 50 years of service.

Andy was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon, elder, Trustee and was a Youth Advisor. He also sang in the Choir and was the director of the LOGOS Program. Andy served in the U.S. Army after the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann Littrell Weaver, Children, James Anderson Weaver III (Rhonda), Donna Weaver Shuford (Jimmy), grandchildren, Kelsey Johnson (Justin), Miranda Weaver, Andrew Weaver, John Weaver, Brady Shuford, Trey Shuford, Ben Shuford, Mary Beth Shuford, Great grandchildren, Eli Johnson, and Everette Johnson. Brother-in-law, George McLaughlin and sister in law, Ellen Ayers (Ronnie), Several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request donation the Northminster Presbyterian Church Youth Programs or the Dominican Republic Missionary Trip, 565 Wimbish Road Macon, Ga. 31210.

Snow's Memorial Chapel at Bass Road has charge of arrangements.
