James Timothy "Tim" Jones, age 75, of Byron, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Private services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 16, 2021 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ed Chambless will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.
Tim was born December 12, 1945 in Macon the son of the late Lola Dykes Jones and Roger William Jones. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic for 33+ years. Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
Tim is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Williams Jones; daughters, Kathy English (Brad) of Macon and Lisa Pearce (Terry "Tom") of Byron; grandchildren, Chase English, Grace Pearce, Melanie Hudson, Isaac Pearce; great-grandson, Azriel Hudson; sisters, Melanie Murray (Bobby) and Virginia Wynne; brother, Bill Jones (Sharon); many nieces and nephews.
