Jacquelyn “Jackie” A. Williams, 83, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Creston Groover will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 129 Yukon Road, Macon, GA 31217.
Mrs. Williams, wife for fifty-seven years of the late Harry Franklin Williams, was born in Tennille, GA, the daughter of the late Harry Franklin and Annie Lou Pancake. She was a graduate of Jones County High School and lived in Macon most of her life. She was a retired Underwriter with Georgia Farm Bureau. Mrs. Williams was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was energetic and full of life and her family was her life, her children, grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren “her babies.” Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheryl P. McClammy and brothers, Frankie Pancake and Gerald Pancake.
She is survived by those she loved most, her son, Chris (Jane) Williams of Lyons; her daughter, Debbie (John) Stratigos of Gray; her beloved grandchildren, Kevin Whidby, Kellie Eaton, Lori Rickertsen, Brandy Sikes, Brett Williams, Blake Williams and Halee Potts; her much adored great grandchildren, Cadyn Eaton, Casyn Eaton, Jonah Sikes, Anna Jane Sikes, Lucy Sikes, Kannon Rickertsen, Kyson Rickertsen, Nolan Williams and Reid Williams and brother, Aubrey (Nell) Pancake.
