Jacqueline "Jackie" Fay Tucker, 76, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Beck officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to foreign missions through Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31220.
Jacqueline was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Johnnie O. and Frances H. Evans, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Reneè Spruce. She was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, passionately involved in missions and was active in Women on Mission as well as Acteen and GA Director. Jacqueline was also a member of the Old Macon Garden Club. In recent years she took up scrap booking and card making. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David Tucker; daughter, Teresa Tucker Ford (Randy); grandchildren, Charles Ray Ford (Eileen), Laura Beth Spruce, and John Michael Wesley Spruce; son-in-law, Wesley Spruce.
