Drue Margaret Snow, 62, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 14, 2019. A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 at Wesley Glen Ministries at 10:00a.m. with Rev. John Irwin officiating. A graveside service was held earlier at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to Wesley Glen Ministries, 4580 N Mumford Rd, Macon, GA 31210, in Drue's memory.
Drue was born in Macon, Georgia to the late George Norman Snow and Vivian Calhoun Snow. She lived in the Middle Georgia area for most of her life and graduated from Northside High School. Drue is also preceded in death by one of her second cousins, Brent Lanier. She loved to listen to Country music, singing in the choir, watching the ATL Braves baseball team, spending time with her cat Spooky, to put puzzles together, and paint and draw for the residents at Wesley Glen. Drue also loved to bowl and won a gold medal in the Special Olympics.
Survivors include her cousins, Michael (Nancy) Lisenby, Debbie (Donald) Lanier, Jeanelle Christian, second cousins, Joseph Lisenby, Jamie Lisenby (Jeff) Freiberg, Michael Lanier, Erin Lanier (Wyatt) Oats, and close friends from Wesley Glen Ministries.
Drue loved the staff and residents at Wesley Glen where they were all family. The family would like personally thank Wesley Glen Ministries for the care, love and joy they provided Drue.
