Dorothy “Dot” B. Wilder, 66, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Alan Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilder was born in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Jennings Brown. She was preceded in death by her sister Martha Mimbs. She enjoyed coaching with her husband, girls softball at Bloomfield Recreation Center. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty six years, James C. Wilder of Macon, mother; Sara Brown of Macon, daughter; Donna Wilder of Sugar Hill, GA, son; Roger (Kimberly) Wilder of Macon, two grandchildren; Victoria Wilder and Cameron Wilder of Fort Valley, sister; Mae Lindsey of Sandersville, two aunts, Lois Morgan and Dezonna Etheridge, and her beloved extended family, Loye Roughton, Donna Dorn, Kathy Huggins, Kim Burns, Erica and Erin Huggins,
nieces and nephews, Debra Smith, Yvonne Peavey, Sharon Bromley, Dean Lindsey, Dewonia Johnston, Tracie Frank and Teresa Blount.
