A Celebration of Life for Debbie will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Vineville United Methodist Church, 2045 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204, followed by a visitation in the church sanctuary. Dr. Jimmy Asbell, Dr. Laudis H. "Rick" Lanford and Jan Rose will officiate. Debbie was born in San Bernardino, California the daughter of the late Jacqueline Whitley Dean and Wallace Dewayne Dean. She was a registered nurse for 38 years of which the last 15 were with Quantum Health Care. Debbie was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church, the Make A Wish Foundation and the USTA Women's Tennis League at John Drew Tennis Center. She was a research member of Seattle Genetics, Inc and helped approve "Tucatinib" for Women with breast cancer in 2019. Debbie had a true love for reading, travel, cooking and Alabama football.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas "Tom" McEachern; daughter, Whitley Virginia McEachern of Atlanta; siblings, Tom Dean of Newnan, Kelly Dean Bridges (Bill) of Brinson, Becky Dean Peirce (Alan) of Tallahassee; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jan McEachern Capps (Carl) of Macon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
