My prayer is that Julie and Tim will always feel God's comfort in life, love and the precious memories of having the best father in the world.

I will always feel so grateful to God for you and the precious time I was able to spend with you. The amazing love you between you and Julie and Tim is the most beautiful I have ever seen. Julie and Tim will always have the greatest father in the world. The way Julie and Tim would just want to be next to you, taking care of you, all of the laughter, love and tears will never remain in my heart forever. You touched everyone around you. I pray every day for Julie and Tim's hearts to heal from missing you. I know God has you in his arms and you are always with them forever. Austin and I love you Super Wayne.

I remember Wayne when we were both kids living in the projects. Having received boxing gloves one Christmas, I loved to box. After boxing Wayne a couple of times, I avoided boxing him any more. He was tough.  I'm so sorry to learn of your loss.  He was a special person.

Daddy last yr on this day I hugged u as u went to a very tough surgery ur lungs sn heart were filling with fluid an you agreed to the surgery because of me an bubba to fight an live longer as that dr told me you would be better an walking playing golf so we said yes go into surgery after hrs of waiting they told me you were out but on a vent I was alone an had to see you that way thk god mel an aunt vodice walked up before I went to I.c.u. this was a horrific day mentally an emotionally nurse said to me he can hear u so I said daddy I'm hear I love u daddy pls fight daddy I need you and ur b.p. went up an you squeezed my hand 3 × for I love u then reached out to pat my head the nurse ran out to get dr with shock in her voice saying mr greene is responding to his daughter I said of course he is I'm his baby girl he won't leave me today was a long stress filled day aunt v was so upset mel stayed by ur side all day with all of us merrideth mom charlie bubba we never left ur side..I miss u daddy I love u so much want to be with u

Mr. Wayne has been in my life since day one. He was my uncle without the title. You both were my brother and sister we shared so much through the years. I know Mr. Wayne is smiling and pain free now. He is watching over you both and so proud of yall. It will always be hard but you will be able to look back and smile and even laugh at all the times you shared. I love you both and my heart is with you.

r.i.p. dear friend. you were definitely one of a kind. one of the funniest people i have ever known. always smiling and always had a good joke to tell. i know you are keeping everyone in hysterics in heaven. jimmie and i will both miss you very much. the world has lost one of the best but now heaven HAS one of the best. may god bless the family as they carry on without this wonderful man.

I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing. I ran into him several months ago and he had some really great things to say about you and all that you have accomplished. He was very proud of you! I often remember the times as kids when we played Midget Football and our dads coached together. Those were fun times. I am certain you are just as proud of having had such a remarkable man to call "dad". God bless you and your family.

Tim & Julie, Charlie Wayne and I had a wonderful relationship that lasted at least 53 years. We were as brothers and our love for each other never dwindled. At this moment, he is enjoying being  with his family and old friends that he has been missing for so long.  One day I will be with Charlie Wayne again and we'll rehash our ventures on earth. I know his dream is still for you kids to place your lives in God's hands. That is your assurance of being with your daddy again.

Wayne you are and will be truly be missed by all of us who are your family, friends and co-workers. I first met you at Macon E and with that great sense of humor of yours you attracted many into your life and when a person departed from your presence they always walked away smiling and were better for having invested that time with you. Thank you my friend for being who you were in the lives of so many while here. Thank you for being a friend, and active church member at both Macon E and United Community Church. You poured so much of your life into United Community Church both in an official and unofficial capacity here at UCC. MANY good things are in place at UCC because of you. Speaking for myself I am very grateful and speaking for our church family I can and do say WE are very grateful. We love you and miss you my friend and my brother in Christ. Although we miss you greatly, we are excited for you because you are now in His presence. I look forward to the day we see each other again brother.
