Chantal "Jackie" Davis, 72, joined her husband on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 19 at 10:30 AM, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, from 6 until 8 o'clock.
Jackie was born in Co Cao, Cao Bang, Vietnam to the late French Col. Raymond Villemin and Lang Li Thi`. She attended Catholic School in Southeast Asia and came to the United States in 1975. She met and married her late husband, USAR Sgt. Richard Calvin Davis, Sr. They lived in the USA, Spain, Germany, and ultimately returned to the USA and resided in Georgia. She proudly became a naturalized US citizen in 1984. Jackie belonged to the Chua Quang Minh Vietnamese Buddhist Temple in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jackie worked for Bibb Mill for many years, before working and retiring from YKK in May, 2016. She was a volunteer for a multitude of groups, churches, and food banks, to include: Christ Chapel of Warner Robins, World Changers Fellowship of Macon, Anderson's Diner of Macon, Middle GA Community Food Bank of Macon, Buck Melton Community Center of Macon, Real Life Church of Warner Robins, Greenwood Baptist Church of Gray, Greater Allen Chapel AME Church of Macon.
Jackie loved gardening and being in touch with nature. She gave her time and efforts to all that she encountered. Jackie played the role of the "neighborhood mother" and loved the ability to touch so many, always eager to help, to listen, to provide a meal.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosa Davis; son, Raymond V. Davis; son, Richard C. Davis, Jr.; daughters, Rochelle Alexis-Marvel, JoAnn Davis; grandsons, John Christian "Bubba" Davis, Garrett Anthony Davis, Nicholas Alexander Davis, Demetrius Alexis, Dominique Alexis, Monique McKinney, Crystal Williams, Alexia McKinney, Richard C. Davis, III, and several others; sister, Maria Stewart of Florida; and her beloved dogs; and a large extended family in the Henderson, Georgia area.
